Chicago HHH #1467 Idiots’ Day Joint Hash w/Second City
Hare(s): Specklebird
Venue: Windsor Tavern – 4530 N Milwaukee Ave

This Sunday, Dec. 3, Specklebird will enthrall us with something like the 9th edition of his now-famous Idiot’s Day Hash. You don’t even need a half-mind for this one. I think a quarter will do.

To get there (these are my improvised directions, as none were provided for the hare, so I do not guarantee them):

From City: take I-94 north to Montrose, turn left (west) on Montrose and go about a mile to Milwaukee and turn right. Windsor should be about a block and a half up.

From North: Exit 94 at Cicero, go south to Montrose, turn right and go about a half-mile to Milwaukee, turn right and look for Windsor in about a block and a half.

From Northwest (I-90): Don’t take I-90. I don’t know directions from there.

CTA: Take Blue line to Montrose. Hitch-hike with compassionate hashers who will pick you up and take you a mile or so west and a couple blocks up Milwaukee.

Metra: Take Milwaukee District North line leaving Fox Lake at 12:45 or Union Station at 12:35 to the Mayfair stop. Go west on Montrose or hitch-hike as above.

Hare(s): Horn-E.
Venue: Cumberland (8400 W) and Irving Park (4000 N).

A to B – B: Heeny’s (2nd Old Style sign West of Cumberland on Irving)

Horn-E Woods Shiggy Run. Come experience one of Chicago’s most experienced hares in his element. Guaranteed to have a good time!

This would be an all woods hash. Let’s get out in the woods while the weather is still warm. Current predicted weather is 48 and partly cloudy. In the woods there is very little wind. It should be perfect for running. Meet at the Bus shelter. Calvin Klein can just head to the Old Style Bar and Batteries Not Included will be expected to hash with us. No excuses. She’s hared here before. I’m going to try something a little different on course. I ran it by OrG and he likes the idea. If the pack just plays along, it should be fun. Come on out and see what the surprise is. It can only be done here. $6

Hare(s): Assfault & Boner Malfunction
Venue: Friar Tuck – 3010 N Broadway

ASSFAULT and BONER nice job $4 pitchers in Lincoln Park/Lakeview. Take note future hares this is the way you hare. You get your venue out more than one week in advance and get a great pitcher deal and the deals are out there you need to ask. Now hares be aware that the Pack will walking from Fuji’s to the Tuck so you may want to be careful on how you lay trail, just a suggestion.

Great Chicago Fire Hash : Oct. 8-9, 1871

Hare(s): Chicken Stiffer and possible volunteer?
Venue: Morgan’s Bar and Grill on Maxwell Street – 1325 S. Halsted St., Chicago

We lost our hare for Sunday if someone would like to lay trail with me on Sunday please contact me. This is a great chance for Virgin hares to learn from a master hare. (Insert coughing and Choking noises) I have already found a venue for us that has $6 pitchers and good food. If no one will step up than be prepared for a Chicken Stiffer Death March that will cover all the areas of Chicago burned down by that damn cow. Please check out the links to the maps so you can see how far you will be running.
