Chicago Hash #1621 9.6.08 @ Party Central SkyDeck 5th Annual Labor Day Hash

Hare(s): Fuji, Lifa and Super Stuff’Her
Venue: Party Central Skydeck – 933 W Wolfram St, rooftop (go up the back stairs) just Northeast of the Diversey Brown Line station
Hash Cash: Only $8 gets you more beer than you can shake a stick at, Labor Day BBQ cookout at the on in, some of the best urban shiggy trail to be found in Beverly Hills 60614, and lots Trixie/Chad sightings as you can never get enough “eye candy” on trail!

Just like we do every year for Memorial Day and Labor Day, we move the regular hash to Sunday to allow the holiday Monday for recovery time!!!

Your hares promise spectacular trail and beautiful weather here in the heart of the Lincoln Park “Green Zone” and a blowout postparty that will involve serious grilled foodstuffs and keg(s) on the SkyDeck! While not historically as much of a “foody affair” as Memorial Day, Labor Day Hash has devolved over the years into more of a totally off-the-hinges Category Five Drinkstravaganza!

As a tribute to Labor Day, for those still standing we will be holding a hash-only Summer Outdoor Movie night on the SkyDeck after the hash as the HD projector and 110″ diagonal screen showing the Mike Judge classic “Office Space”.

Hop into your hooptie and schlep your sled to whilst dodging Chicago’s ever-increasing supply of potholes and cruise to the intersection of Sheffield and Webster. Look for whatever parking you can find tho not much is good around there. Side streets are Zone 143 Permit after 6pm. If you wish to drive you are in luck Kelly’s has parking next to the building under the el. Best way to access this is to use Sheffield if going north turn right in the alley right before you see Webster. Make a left under the EL and park your car. If you are cumming from the North Cross Webster and make an immediate left into the alley and park under the el on the left side. CARS MUST BE MOVED by MIDNIGHT!!!

CH3 #1613

Chicago Hash #1613 – Summer Saturdays #3 – 7.25.09, 2nd Annual Taste of Lincoln Ave Hash @ Party Central SkyDeck a.k.a “Ruji’s Foofdeck”

Hare(s): Super Stuff’Her & Fuji a.k.a. It’s Too Soft
Venue: The SkyDeck @ Party Central – 933 W. Wolfram, Rooftop
Hash Cash: $8 gets you trail, more beer than you can shake a stick at, and BBQ party at the on-in. Hells bells for that price you’re lucky to get 1-1/2 beers in the Lincoln Park Green Zone on a Saturday.

After last year’s blowout the comedy team of Stuff’Her & Fuji once again set trail on the Saturday of the Taste of Lincoln Ave (or “TOLA” as my Lincoln Park crew calls it), the “Rose Bowl” of Chicago neighborhood Summer street festivals.

A-A from the Party Central SkyDeck where we’ll have a keg and hash cash will include BBQ tailgate party after the circle. For those interested after the hash we’ll be heading over to the 25th Annual Taste of Lincoln Ave which is arguably Chicago’s premier Summer street festival, just two blocks straight South from Party Central.

Trail will run by the fest entrance so those wanting to can get hand stamps and pay the $7 early bird admission rather than the $10 prime time after 4pm cost. Headliner bands include:

Fullerton Stage:
6:00 PM – Tyrone Wells
8:30 PM – Tonic

Montana Stage:
6:00 PM – Stache
8:00 PM – Cat Fight

Wrightwood Stage:
6:00 PM – Hello Dave
8:30 PM – 16 Candles

http://www.chicagoevents.com/event.cfm?eid=117

And as a further bonus if we don’t kill the keg at the hash, there will be a post-festival party along with friends from the fest back at Party Central until we do kill it.

The CHICAGO HASH will be running on the last Saturday of each month in the SUMMER (except August which is a week earlier due to the proximity to the Labor Day Hash on Sunday). Many CH3 hashers have said they cannot run on Monday nights when we switched so here is your chance to stretch those legs on the weekend.
